Dr. Rashida Biggs is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) who has worked in healthcare for over 15 years. Dr. Biggs has many years of practical experience developing, implementing and managing health promotion programs. She also has several years of medical group practice management experience. Due to Dr. Biggs’ extensive background in program planning and development, she provides technical assistance for program planning and execution by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County, and the Public Health Trust. She continues to facilitate community-based participatory research and intervention efforts to reduce health disparities in minority and underserved communities.
