Dr. Adriana Campa is an associate professor in the Department of Dietetics & Nutrition at Florida International University. Her field of interest is HIV and nutrition. She has conducted research in Panama, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Guyana, Mexico and Botswana, as well as the impoverished areas of Miami-Dade County. Dr. Campa teaches a core course in global health and several undergraduate and graduate courses in nutrition. She has mentored over 50 undergraduate and graduate student projects and published extensively with her students. Dr. Campa is the chair of the FIU Health Sciences Institutional Review Board. She is a member of the USDA National Agricultural Research, Extension, Education, and Economics (NAREEE) Advisory Board, which provides guidance to the Secretary of Agriculture on the top priorities and policies for the USDA.
