Dr. Deoraj supervises graduate research and teaches numerous environmental and global public health courses at undergraduate and graduate levels. The overarching goal of his research is to measure the influence of microbiome and complex environmental exposures on the etiology of chronic diseases and cancer. His ongoing research focuses on the genes and environment interactions of the endocrine disruption pathways at genome and epigenome signaling in relation to precocious puberty, reproductive aging, reproductive impairment and cancer. Dr. Deoraj has published over 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals, books, magazine and conference proceedings. He serves as an academic editor of the online Public Library of Science (PLOS) journal.
