Dr. Kristopher Fennie is an assistant professor in the Department of Epidemiology. He is interested in social and behavioral determinants of health among vulnerable populations, focusing primarily on HIV and injection drug use in the United States and China. He also is interested in transgender health, particularly in the area of access to primary care, patient provider relationships, and HIV. He has experience in observational and behavioral-intervention research and has published over 50 peer-reviewed reports. He is active in the American Public Health Association and the American College of Epidemiology.
