I credit the depth of my experience at Stempel College not only to academics, but also to the mentorship that I have received from professors who are leaders and pioneers in the field of public health. My passion for public health in the Haitian community is what motivates my ongoing involvement in a non-profit organization that works on behalf of the people of Haiti. My doctoral program has bolstered my ability to conduct effective public health practices within my global health involvement in Haiti. I believe that this comprehensive experience as a student in Stempel College will position me as a prime candidate for a career as an international researcher. With the help of my mentors, I have been awarded the very competitive Global Health Equity Scholars Fellowship for 2018-2019.
