Cynthia Ibarra
Biography
Cynthia Ibarra is a research study coordinator at the Florida International University, Robert Stempel College of Public Health & Social Work. While working towards her masters degree, Cynthia worked for 2 years as a medical scribe at the University of Miami General Surgery unit. She completed her field practicum at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Infection Prevention and Control Department, observing hand washing practices and PPE use among different healthcare workers and collaborating with transmission-based precautions for inpatient hospital units. Cynthia graduated with a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Florida International University.
