Health Policy and Management
The Department of Health Policy and Management trains graduates to have careers in health care management, health economics and population health management—from making the delivery of healthcare safer and more efficient to expanding health insurance coverage. Our graduates are trained to make sense of today’s complex healthcare environment through analytical tools and to look for ways to eliminate disparities in access and care, while providing economic evaluations to the government. Stempel College’s unique location allows professors to incorporate the diversity of Miami’s healthcare industry as we ensure our graduates develop into culturally sensitive leaders.
