Minor in Social Welfare

The Minor in Social Welfare introduces students to the essentials of social work: how the profession helps individuals, families, groups, and organizations navigate challenges and create change.

It’s a strong academic option for students who want exposure to the field—and a strategic launchpad for those planning to pursue a Master of Social Work (MSW).

This minor does not qualify students to practice social work or use the title of social worker.
