Mitochondrial dysfunction related pulmonary hypertension and acute lung injury

Biography

Xutong Sun earned a bachelor’s degree in marine biology from the Qingdao Ocean University, a master degree in cell biology from Hebei Normal University and a PhD in developmental biology from Qingdao Ocean University in China. Afterward, Sun did a postdoctoral research in molecular biology at Seto Marine Biological Laboratory of Kyoto University in Japan. From 2002 to 2006, she has worked as a postdoc fellow in Medical College of Georgia. From 2006 till now, Sun joined Dr. Stephen Black’s lab and has served in the following positions: research associate, research specialist principal, senior scientist, research assistant professor and research associate professor.
