Application Deadlines
The MSW program uses rolling admissions. Submit materials by:

Admission Requirements
To qualify:
- Minimum 3.0 GPA in upper-division coursework
- Grade of C or better in:
- Biology with human content (3 credits)
- Statistics (3 credits)
- 12 credits in Social Sciences
- International applicants whose native language is not English must submit:
- TOEFL iBT score of 80 or
- IELTS score of 6.5
About the MSW Program
Mission Statement
As an integral partner in the urban community of South Florida, the MSW program prepares students for advanced clinical social work with an emphasis on individuals, families, and groups. The program is rooted in the values and ethics central to the social work profession and educates students to contribute to refining and advancing social work practice through research-based and collaborative engagement. Using the person-in-environment framework, the program trains students to advance human rights for local and global communities, promoting human and community well-being.
