Alayne Gatto, RD
Alayne Gatto MS, MBA, RD, CSP, LD, CLC, FAND is an adjunct lecturer at Florida International University. She also holds a full-time role as a Medical Science Liaison and Registered Dietitian at Reckitt/Mead Johnson Nutrition. In her MSL role, Alayne uses her clinical nutrition background to provide insights for product development and enjoys translating scientific research into everyday language for social media platforms. Alayne supports health care professionals by developing and leading virtual and live nutrition education seminars to speak on recently published evidence. She has been an invited speaker at various nutrition conferences and has provided hundreds of presentations to hospitals and organizations across the United States and internationally. Alayne is a board certified infant and pediatric specialist (CSP), certified lactation counselor (CLC) and a Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She earned her MS in clinical nutrition from Arizona State University and her executive MBA from Texas A&M. She completed her dietetic internship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts. She currently lives on the outskirts of Savannah GA on some acreage with her family and 30 chickens, 10 ducks, and 4 dogs.
