Biography
Alayne Gatto, Ph.D., MBA, RD, CSP, LD, CLC, FAND, MSL‑BC is an adjunct faculty member at Florida International University and a Senior Medical Science Liaison with Mead Johnson Nutrition. A board‑certified infant and pediatric specialist and registered dietitian, she blends clinical expertise with scientific communication to support health care providers across the United States and internationally. In her MSL role, Dr. Gatto has been an invited speaker at numerous nutrition conferences and has delivered hundreds of lectures to hospitals, professional organizations, and global audiences. She is known for translating emerging scientific evidence into practical, accessible guidance for clinicians and consumers.
At FIU, Dr. Gatto’s commitment to lifelong learning is evident in her dedication to inspiring students to enter the nutrition field as engaged, evidence‑driven professionals. She has contributed to the FIU Baby‑Feed studies and other internal and external collaborative publications, further advancing research in pediatric nutrition, lactation, and science‑based practice.
Based in Fort Myers, Florida, she is also deeply passionate about farm‑to‑table living and the connection between food systems, health, and community.
