Biography
Natalia Giordano, LCSW, is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the FIU School of Social Work, where she teaches practice courses and child welfare electives for undergraduate and graduate students. Before this role, Natalia worked with adolescents and young adults transitioning into independent living in New York City and Miami. Natalia developed comprehensive programs focused on employment, education, and life skills while providing counseling, case management, and life coaching. Natalia has been a Field Instructor since 2009 and a Qualified Supervisor since 2017. She also provides clinical support and leadership development to those working in and leading organizations supporting young people. Natalia's work is grounded in developing empowering and healing-centered relationships with students, colleagues, and interns using her training in Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, and Restorative Practices.
