Laura Duberti

Laura Duberti is the office manager for the Department of Global Health.

Laura started her career at Florida International University when she joined the Office of International Studies in 1999. She worked with faculty-led study abroad programs and with incoming and outgoing exchange students from all over the world. She served as a Fulbright Scholarship advisor.  Working alongside the Office of International Student and Scholar Services, wrote the grant proposal and co-directed the FIU Fulbright Gateway Orientation.

Before returning to FIU, Laura continued working in the international education field as an academic advisor for IES Abroad - Buenos Aires Center (Argentina). She then moved on to hold an administrative position at the Criminal Appeal Chamber, the Judicial Branch of the City of Buenos Aires, assisting the Public Defender.

A strong believer in education and global initiatives, she fosters understanding and collaborative working ethics with a friendly and open approach, empowering multicultural connections.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in international studies from Universidad de Belgrano, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
