Omar Valentin has been a Research Project Manager since 2015. He graduated from the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus with a master’s in public health with a specialty in epidemiology. Ever since, he has dedicated his career in working in prevention and behavioral research at Department of Health of Puerto Rico, the University of Puerto Rico Comprehensive Cancer Center, Temple University, University of Miami, and now Florida International University. His research work involves HPV awareness and HPV vaccine uptake, as well as HIV prevention and treatment.
