Biography

Ms. Weize Wang joined the Center for Research on US Latino HIV/AIDS and Drug Abuse (CRUSADA) at Florida International University (FIU) as a data analyst in 2018. She received her Masters of Public Health (MPH) in Biostatistics from FIU. Ms. Wang provides statistical and data management support for projects related to CRUSADA, including study design and statistical analysis plans, analyzing and preparing results and research papers for peer-reviewed publications, presenting results to study investigators, consulting on statistical analysis methods, and data quality control. She is interested in clinical trials, longitudinal studies, epidemiological studies and health disparities, particularly focused on substance abuse and HIV risk factors. She previously worked as a biostatistician at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, where she assisted medical doctors with statistical data analysis for clinical research studies.
