Exceptional candidates may be recommended for a one-year MPH, concentration in epidemiology (accelerated track). The accelerated track offers an opportunity to study full-time and complete the MPH in just 12 months. The program is designed for students who are typically transitioning to medical, dental or nursing school upon graduation.

Graduation requirements
- Satisfy all University requirements for Master of Public Health in Epidemiology.
- Complete a minimum of 45 semester hours of graduate-level coursework in an approved program.
- Earn a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 in all coursework completed.
- Resolve incomplete grades prior to graduation. Resolve failing grades of required coursework prior to graduation.
- Meet with Academic Advisor each semester (Departmental graduation requirement).
- Apply for graduation online at my.fiu.edu. (See Univ. Grad Catalog for most current deadlines).
- Complete Robert Stempel School of Public Health Exit Survey prior to graduation.
- All work applicable to the degree must be completed within six years of first enrollment in the master’s program.
