Bio

Current research focus
My research interests are in tobacco control, cardiovascular health, and women's health.

Ongoing projects
I lead an NIH-funded study investigating barriers and facilitators of harm reduction among adults who use cigarettes and use e-cigarettes with the intention to quit. I also use data from the Population Assessment of Tobacco and Health (PATH) Study to investigate the etiology, progression and transition outcomes of dual use of e-cigarettes and cigarettes. In addition, I work with the Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis (MESA) to identify opportunities for improving cardiovascular health across diverse populations.
