The Graduate Certificate in MCH provides graduate-level instruction in the foundation of Maternal and Child Health. Students will gain skills to implement programs, conduct research, and inform policy to improve the health and well-being of women, children, and families. The MCH certificate program is open to both degree-seeking (in a department other than HPDP) and non-degree-seeking students.
Program requirements
This certificate program requires the completion of 15 graduate credits. The student must complete two foundational graduate-level courses in Maternal and Child Health plus a minimum of three specialty courses with subject matter related to MCH. Students should consult with advisors since new courses are frequently added, and some courses have prerequisites and enrollment stipulations.
Admission requirements
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
